This story isn’t just about
magic and kingdoms falling either. It’s about resilience and reclaiming power
in a world that keeps trying to silence you. The world-building is lush and
layered without being overwhelming, and I loved how the magic actually came
with real consequences.

There are no easy solutions to her problems, nor does
a savior appear to rescue her. This book would certainly appeal to readers
seeking a fresh narrative and a departure from conventional plots. The
world-building is skillfully executed, and the characters are convincingly
portrayed.

I enjoyed this book and will continue reading the series and other books by the author. I did get annoyed with the main character but then I reluctantly thought about it and decided that some people would probably react in the same manner. No matter how helpful someone may be, someone telling you what to do constantly will piss you off especially after what she went through. The side characters are amazing and I am really curious about where their path will lead. Some I hope get a happily ever after and some I hope get tossed off a cliff.
